A one-to-one 30-minute consultation to talk through your completed questionnaire, your lifestyle, and your aspirations for the space. We'll discuss how the room is used day to day, what isn't working, and what a truly resolved version of it could feel like.
Curated Moodboard
A bespoke moodboard capturing the overall direction, atmosphere and material story for your room — setting the creative tone for every decision that follows.
2D Floor Plan
A considered floor plan showing furniture placement and flow, so you can see exactly how the space will function before anything is purchased or moved. The only Kalido & Co. service to include layout guidance.
Colour & Decoration
Direction A thoughtfully developed colour scheme including clearly specified paint options, alongside a wallpaper or panelling recommendation where appropriate — resolved in direct relation to the furniture, lighting and layout, not in isolation.
Furniture Selections
A carefully curated furniture selection — every piece chosen to work in concert with the layout, the light and the colour direction. Scoped to your room and brief during the discovery call, with longevity and flexibility at the heart of every decision.
Lighting Selections
A layered lighting plan — including ceiling, wall and table options as appropriate — designed to create atmosphere, balance and flexibility throughout the day. Lighting is considered as an integral part of the room's architecture, not a finishing decision.

How to Prepare
What we'll ask you to share
Ahead of your discovery call, you'll receive a detailed questionnaire covering your space, lifestyle, functional needs and aesthetic preferences. We'll also ask for precise room measurements and photographs from multiple angles — including walls, windows, and architectural features like slopes, eaves and arches. If you would like to keep any furniture or products, please also include their dimensions and a photo.. This level of detail is what allows us to design with confidence and precision.
Think about how the room lives, not just how it looks
The Signature Room considers function and feeling in equal measure. Reflect on how the space is used day to day — who spends time there, what happens there, what isn't working — as well as how you'd like it to feel. The most resolved rooms are designed around real life, not just visual references.

You don't need a fully formed vision before we begin. Sharing what you love, what you dislike, and what feels uncertain is more than enough. Our process is designed to bring clarity — not to test how decisive you already are.
Consider the whole picture
Because this service resolves layout, colour, furniture and lighting together, it's worth reflecting on all of these elements in advance — even loosely. Are there pieces you'd like to keep? Kalido & Co. provides design consultancy and creative direction only. There's no need to organise trades, installers or timelines at this stage — that comes later, at your own pace, once the design is in place.

The Refined Room refines individual elements — furniture and lighting, chosen to work with what you already own. The Signature Room designs the room as a complete system — layout, colour, furniture and lighting resolved together from the very beginning, as a single creative vision. It's the difference between refining a room and resolving it entirely. It also includes a 2D floor plan and a Room Design Rationale document, neither of which feature in any other service.
Why do you need precise measurements for this service?
Because layout is part of the design. Unlike our other services, The Signature Room includes a 2D floor plan — which means we need accurate dimensions to place furniture correctly, consider flow, and ensure the design works in practice, not just visually.
Will you redesign the layout of my room?
Yes. This is the only Kalido & Co. service that considers layout as part of the design process. Your 2D floor plan will show furniture placement and flow, helping you visualise how the space will function before anything is purchased or moved.
What is the Design Guide?
A written document, unique to this service, that explains the creative thinking behind your design — why decisions were made, how the elements work together, and how the room can be adapted and evolved over time. It's designed to be kept and returned to as your home changes.
Is this a full interior design service?
No. Kalido & Co. provides design consultancy and creative direction only. We do not manage procurement, installation or on-site works. The Signature Room delivers a complete, fully resolved design vision — implementation happens at your own pace, in your own time.
Is this suitable if I'm starting completely from scratch?
Yes. Whether you're working with an empty room or rethinking an existing space entirely, The Signature Room is designed to bring complete clarity and confidence to the process.
Can this service be combined with others?
Each service is designed to stand alone, and The Signature Room is the most comprehensive single service we offer. That said, some clients choose to revisit The Palette Studio or The Final Touch independently as their home evolves beyond the original brief.
What happens after delivery?
Your 30-day support window begins on delivery. During this time you can book your support call and submit one round of considered refinements. If you'd like further support as your room comes together, The Design Clinic is available to returning Kalido & Co. clients as a focused follow-on session.
